Kayla once sang "Happy Birthday" to Aaron Rodgers, thrives on coffee and most likely has the world's largest colored pen collection.

Kayla graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor’s degree in social welfare. After graduation, she worked as a family advocate with Early Head Start families in Dane County. Kayla also received her Infant, Early Childhood, and Family Mental Health Capstone Certificate program through UW-Madison and is a Certified Infant Massage Instructor. In addition to her experience as a home visitor, Kayla has supported a wide variety of individuals as a childcare provider and Care Coordinator for a Wisconsin based Medicare-Advantage Plan. Growing up in Madison, Kayla and her family accessed many resources and services in the Madison area in support of her younger brother who is deaf. Many of these wonderful organizations are still around today! Kayla is passionate about being a support and advocate for families in the community because of the wonderful organizations and people who were a big part of her brother’s life. Kayla has been a part of the CI team for over four years and has loved meeting clients and their families and connecting with valued community partners. Outside of work, Kayla enjoys learning a new craft skill, reading, and spending time with her husband and daughter. As a family, they spend a lot of time outdoors and tailgating at Packer football games.
